A head-on collision Friday on Deer Valley Road north of Empire Mine
Road caused some injuries and closed roads for 90 minutes.
The accident happened just after 10 a.m. when the driver of a 2010
Chevrolet Cobalt, a 28-year-old Pittsburg man, veered across the
double line of the two-lane road and hit a car driving southbound,
